Whatever has brought you here, hopefully we can answer any questions you may have about Pulse. Feel free to contact us directly at info@pulsestudent.com if you have a question that is not answered here.
Pulse is the student ministry of Truth Community Church. More than that we strive to share the love of Jesus Christ with a generation of young people who are hurting and looking for answers.
At Pulse we reach out to students from 7th grade, through high school, and into their young adult life. We have students from middle and high schools throughout Springfield and the surrounding area. We can only offer transportation for those inside Springfield, but welcome students from the area.
Our goal at Pulse is to provide a positive enivronment for students, share the life-altering message of Jesus Christ, and to equip our students to live a productive life dedicated to God.
Because of this a central part of Pulse is our Wednesday night gathering. Every Wednesday students are exposed to positive Christian music and videos, a dedicated staff that connects with and cares for the students, and a message that deals with the issues facing this generation. On a Wednesday night students have the opportunity to connect to God through worship led by a live band and to hear from God through the message.
On Sunday students are taught about principles of the Bible. But more than just talking about these principles students are told how they can be applied to their life- and are weekly challenged to do so.
In addition to Sunday and Wednesday Pulse often has other fun activities, usually on a Friday or Saturday night. At these events students have the opportunity to hang out in a safe enviornment and build friendships.
